Cupcake Therapy

1. Brandon has surgery on his torn labrum yesterday. Fortunately, the pain was nothing a cupcake or two couldn't fix! Just kidding, they probably didn't help at all... but they were so much fun making! The surgery went fine, and the first day of recovery was almost pain-free. I wish I could give you the super-healthy recipe I used to make these cupcakes buuut... they were definitely just from a box!

A Frannie favorite

Like I said, I love my job at Francescas! On Thursdays Elise, Rachel, Melissa, and I try on super cute outfits and have our own little photo shoot. This was my first picture and I love this dress! Naturally, I had to go buy it after! I'm also wearing my favorite necklace, and although I'm not a huge necklace fan, I'm definately considering purchasing!

I recently got rid of two-thirds of my closet! My girlfriends came over and harshly helped me toss out some of my very old (and definately not in style) pieces. Its so hard (yet so necessary) to get rid of clothes you bought a long time ago and loved back then! But its important to remember if its just sitting in your closet, there's someone out there who would love to get some use out of it!

So I brought two huge garbage bags of clothes, purses, and jewelry to Platos Closet. I got $40! Even better, I treated myself to a day of shopping where I bought this dress along with a few others. :)

p.s. A great way to get rid of unwanted clothes (after platos closet of course) is to donate them to Purple Heart. They come right ot your doorstep and all you have to do is leave your stuff on the front porch! Give them a call :)

Hi! I'm Kathleen and this is my first blog! I'm seventeen and getting ready to graduate high school (finally!). I plan on attending Viterbo University next fall where I will study nutrition and dietetics.
